KJV Habakkuk 1장

2. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! [even] cry out unto thee [of] violence, and thou wilt not save!
오 {주}여, 내가 부르짖어도 주께서 들으려 하지 아니하시니 어느 때까지리이까! 내가 폭력으로 말미암아 주께 외쳐도 주께서는 구원하려 하지 아니하시나이다!
3. Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause [me] to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence [are] before me: and there are [that] raise up strife and contention.
어찌하여 주께서 내게 불법을 보이시며 내가 학대를 보게 하시나이까? 노략과 폭력이 내 앞에 있사오니 곧 불화와 다툼을 일으키는 것이 있나이다.
4. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. 
그러므로 율법이 해이해지고 공의가 전혀 앞으로 나아가지 못하나이다. 사악한 자가 의로운 자를 에워싸므로 부당한 판단이 나가나이다.
5. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for [I] will work a work in your days, [which] ye will not believe, though it be told [you].
너희는 이교도들 가운데서 보고 관심을 두며 놀랍도록 이상히 여기라. 내가 너희의 날들에 한 일을 행하리니 누가 너희에게 그것을 말하여도 너희가 그것을 믿지 아니하리라.
6. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, [that] bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces [that are] not theirs. 
보라, 내가 저 모질고 성급한 민족 곧 그 땅의 넓은 곳으로 진격하며 자기 소유가 아닌 거처들을 소유할 갈대아 사람들을 일으키노라.
7. They [are] terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. 
그들은 두렵고 무서우며 그들의 심판과 그들의 위엄이 그들에게서 나오느니라.
8. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle [that] hasteth to eat. 
그들의 말들은 또한 표범보다 빠르고 저녁때의 이리보다 사나우며 그들의 기병들은 스스로 퍼지고 멀리서 오므로 그들이 마치 급히 먹으려 하는 독수리같이 날아오리라.
9. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up [as] the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. 
그들은 다 폭력을 행사하러 오는데 그들의 얼굴은 동풍처럼 먹어 치울 태세를 취하고 그들은 모래를 모으듯 포로를 모으며
10. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
또 왕들을 비웃고 통치자들을 조롱하며 모든 요새를 비웃으리라.그들이 흙을 쌓아 그것을 취하리라.
11. Then shall [his] mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, [imputing] this his power unto his god.
그때에 그의 생각이 변하매 그가 이것 즉 자기의 능력을 자기 신에게로 돌리며 정도를 지나쳐 죄를 지으리라.
12. [Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. 
오 {주} 내 [하나님]이여, 나의 거룩한 이여, 주께서는 영원부터 계시지 아니하시나이까? 우리가 죽지 아니하리이다. 오 {주}여, 주께서 심판하시려고 그들을 정하셨나이다. 오 능하신 [하나님]이여, 주께서 바로잡아 주시려고 그들을 세우셨나이다.
13. [Thou art] of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, [and] holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth [the man that is] more righteous than he? 
주께서는 눈이 심히 정결하시므로 악을 보지 못하시며 또 불법을 보지 못하시거늘 어찌하여 배신하는 자들을 바라만 보시고 사악한 자가 자기보다 더 의로운 자를 삼키는데도 주의 혀를 억제하시나이까?
14. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, [that have] no ruler over them? 
또 주께서는 어찌하여 사람들을 바다의 물고기 같게 하시며 자기들을 다스릴 치리자도 없이 기어 다니는 것들 같게 하시나이까?
15. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad. 
그들은 낚시로 그들 모두를 끌어올리고 자기들의 그물로 그들을 잡으며 자기들의 끄는 그물로 그들을 모으고 그런 까닭에 기뻐하고 즐거워하나이다.
16. Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion [is] fat, and their meat plenteous. 
그러므로 그들이 자기들의 그물에게 희생물을 드리고 자기들의 끄는 그물에게 분향하나니 이는 그것들로 말미암아 그들의 몫이 기름지게 되고 그들의 먹을 것이 풍족하게 되기 때문이니이다.
17. Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
그런즉 그들이 자기들의 그물을 비우며 계속해서 민족들을 아끼지 아니하고 죽여야 하리이까?

 

 

KJV Habakkuk 2장

3. For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
그 환상 계시는 여전히 정한 때를 위한 것이나 그 끝에 이르러서는 그것이 말할 것이요, 거짓말을 하지 아니하리라. 비록 그것이 더딜지라도 그것을 기다리라. 그것이 지체하지 아니하리니 그것이 반드시 오리라.
4. Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
보라, 위로 높여진 자의 혼은 그 사람 속에서 곧바르지 아니하나 오직 의인은 자기 믿음으로 살리라.
5. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, [he is] a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and [is] as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: 
또 참으로 그는 포도주로 범법하므로 거만한 자요 집에 가만히 있지 아니하는 자니라. 그는 지옥같이 자기 욕망을 넓히며 또 그는 사망 같아서 만족할 줄 모르고 자기에게로 모든 민족들을 모으며 자기에게로 모든 백성을 쌓아 올리나니
6. Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth [that which is] not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay! 
이 모든 사람들이 비유를 들어가며 그를 치고 조롱하는 속담을 들어가며 그를 치지 아니하겠느냐? 곧 이르기를, 자기 소유가 아닌 것을 늘리는 자에게 화가 있을지어다! 네가 어느 때까지 그리하려느냐? 두터운 진흙으로 짐을 진 자에게 화가 있을지어다!
7. Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
너를 물어뜯을 자들이 갑자기 일어나지 아니하겠으며 너를 괴롭게 할 자들이 깨지 아니하겠느냐? 그리한즉 네가 그들의 전리품이 되리로다.
8. Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of mens blood, and [for] the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. 
네가 많은 민족들을 노략하였으므로 그 백성 중의 남은 모든 자들이 너를 노략하리니 사람들의 피와 또 그 땅과 그 도시와 그 안에 거하는 모든 사람에게 행한 폭력으로 인하여 그리하리라.
9. Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! 
자기 집을 위해 악한 탐욕으로 탐욕을 부리며 이로써 자기 보금자리를 높은 곳에 두어 재앙의 힘에서 구출을 받고자 하는 자에게 화가 있을지어다!
10. Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned [against] thy soul.
네가 많은 백성들을 끊음으로 네 집에 수치를 가져왔으며 네 혼을 대적하여 죄를 지었도다.
11. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. 
돌이 담 속에서부터 부르짖고 들보가 목재 속에서부터 그것에게 응답하리라.
12. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! 
피로 고을을 건설하며 불법으로 도시를 세우는 자에게 화가 있을지어다!
13. Behold, [is it] not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? 
보라, 그 백성이 바로 그 불 속에서 수고하며 그 백성이 그 헛된 것으로 말미암아 지치게 되리니 그것이 만군의 {주}로부터 나오지 아니하였느냐?
14. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. 
물들이 바다를 덮는 것 같이 {주}의 영광을 아는 지식이 땅에 가득하리로다.
15. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to [him], and makest [him] drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
자기 이웃에게 마실 것을 주고 네 술 부대를 주며 또 그를 취하게 하여 이로써 그들의 벌거벗은 것을 보고자 하는 자에게 화가 있을지어다!
